Farr 9.2 built originally for the 1995 Tokyo Boat Show. Was recovered from the builder using a crane over the boat yard fence!!!
Sails regularly in Farr Association events also competes in the Winter Series at FSC off Fremantle.
Is a regular starter at PFSYC twilight events.
I have a total crew of 3 for Saturday's Farr race, if anyone knows of spare crew, could they please email me on conradt@cooperenergy.com.au or call 0403 802 109
Thanks
Conrad
I realise that this may be a touchy subject, but when the Farr 9.2 was first built it was a fast competitive boat. We are now racing against Foundations, 45' yachts, sportsboats and in my case a 38ft water-ballasted racing machine.
I would like to poll owners feelings on whether we should stay in Div 1 and accept that we will always be at the back of the fleet, or move to Div 2, where we would be a competitive boat?
Regards
Conrad
Hi Conrad
Richard B-C has been able to change us at RPYC to Div 2 this year. We haven't done any div racing yet but those who have seem pleased.
Good luck for trying at Freshie.

Mr Kan Igawa and David Atkinson originally owned this yacht in partnership, hence the name. Unfortunately Igawa san was unable to use the yacht and only sailed on her twice. David and Bev now own 100% of "Igawa", and no, the name does not stand for "International Geriatic Asssociation of WA".

I have an old spinnaker and a reasonable main that I'll give away (bottle of wine in exchange would be appreciated). The kite could be used for training, the main as a cruising sail. Moving house soon, need them out og the garage. please call me on 0403 802 109.
